Character Design: Gold Arrogance

Sharing a couple of character designs of my story and keywords I kept thinking while drawing them:

EIRI:
sensual, deceitful, british spy, Mediterranean skin, manipulative, cynical.

MARCUS:
power, emperor, warrior, claw, arrogant, maquiavelo, devil, ice, witchcraft.

These are the main bad guys. They may not look like your typical villians but that's actually what it makes them more dangerous.

Next: some of the good guys! :D

Long story short: been working on this painting for like maybe...16 hours? Then closed the Photoshopz and went to sleep. Opened the file again in the evening and the Photoshop Troll choose me as his next victim.

Rat-load

It has been 11 months since I studied, analysed and drew rats for the very first time for my short film. Fortnately those skills I developed for my film got me this opportunity to work as the Lead animator at the project I'm working on right now. Yes- I'm animating rats again!

So I wanted to share some 'look and feel 'sketches I did for my film as a little bit of character design development:

*giggles*

I know this colour scheme would have burnt some audiences eyes while watching the screen for 1 and a half minutes so I had to change the red. Now it's a nice bright rich purple :D
